Can I Now Travel To New Zealand?

Yes, the country was reopened Monday, May 2 2022, by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who welcomed the first international visitors in more than two years.

From May 2022 to late 2021, New Zealand citizens and permanent residents were the only ones allowed to enter. When Will New Zealand Allow Tourists To Enter Its Country?

Except for medical exemptions that can be documented at least 72 hours in advance of travel, travellers will still need proof they have been fully immunised to enter New Zealand.
